I see it all the time in furry themed AMVs. It’s one of the most overused movies for them.
I’ve seen Spirit several times. I loved it.. Then I began thinking about it.
It has a whole “Humans are bastards, all horses should be free” and “If you’re not Native America, don’t own horses because you treat them like slaves” idea.
His hair color is blonde. His hair is long. When he was little part of his hair was burnt off so his parents gave him a hat. It grew back but by then he had become very attached to the hat.

Also Edd has scar or deformation due to a dodgeball accident in elementary school.
They all look the same age and are in the same classes but they’ve said they’ve had three different dads.
Do they each have different fathers or were those their step-dads? Are they triplets, from separate births, or are two of them twins and one is not? Did any of them get left back?

I apologize for the awful anatomy and the fact that I haven’t drawn this guy enough. My previous art of him is too bad to include in this post. But this blog is about equal representation in the FIM fandom. Forgive me if he’s awful, but this is my OC, Cliffside.
I haven’t worked out all of his story yet, so bear with me. He was born a pegasus filly but knew from a fairly early age that those physical traits did not fit his identity. At first he knew he wasn’t meant to be a pegasus, but a unicorn. Later on he also came out as transgender. The reason he waited was because he thought just being transspecies was enough to scare everyone off. When he did come out as transgender as well, not everyone was unhappy, much to his surprise. So he began hormone treatment later in life, when he was an adult. His parents, who still loved him, also paid for a prosthetic horn to be attached. It cannot do magic because it isn’t real and he wasn’t born a unicorn. Magic doesn’t matter as much to him as long as others can identify him as a unicorn by the horn. Eventually his gender transition got to a point where he completely passes as a stallion, which really makes him happy. And after working odd jobs for a long while, he saved up enough bits for a risky surgery to remove his wings. The procedure was a great success and now he lives as a full time unicorn stallion.
